At last night’s Stated communication it was a busy night at Lake Wales Lodge No.242, first at the request of Elvins-Ionic Lodge No. 154 in Desloge, Missouri, W:. Perry Batson, Past Master of Lake Wales Lodge No.242 presented Bro. Benjamin Zoellner his 50 year pin and certificate, Congratulations Bro. Zollner, next Bro. Shaun Perkins, our Senior Deacon present new jewels to the officers of the lodge purchased through the generosity of Bro. Perkins, W:. Eddie Buck our current Worshipful Master, R:.W:. Greg Fisher our current Secretary and Past District Deputy Grand Master, R:.W:. Rance Crabtree, Past District Deputy Grand Master, Bro. Don Midkiff and Bro. Don Cole our Junior Warden.
And finally following the closure of Lake Wales’ Stated Communication there was an impromptu reunion of the Boring Brothers. R:.W:. Don Cowart, Junior Grand Warden, R:.W:. Perry Batson, R:.W:. Phil Dixon and R:.W: Greg Fisher all of whom served as Grand Line Officers or District Deputy Grand Masters during M:.W:. Steven P. Boring’s term as Florida’s Grand Master from 2015 to 2016.
